Auditing - Consulting - Capacity Building
IA provides a range of services to Non-Governmental Organizations in order to assist them in achieving their respective mandates. Our services range from general consulting, capacity building, project management services to certification of NGOs against internationally recognized standards.
As license holder of the international NGO-Benchmarking Standard from SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance), IA provides both Donors and NGOs with the necessary assurance in respect of the transparency, efficiency and effectiveness of a particular organization.
SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance) is one of the biggest service companies in the world specialized in testing, certification and verification. Head Offices are in Geneva, Switzerland. SGS developed the NGO-Benchmarking standard to address the growing demand regarding the accountability of non-profit organizations. They held numerous meetings with NGOs Boards, Managers and stakeholders and consolidated 25 Codes and International Standards currently applied in this field. The Service has now been applied to numerous NGOs worldwide and is widely recognized and accepted.

HIV/AIDS and Governance
The Institute undertakes training and public forums on the implications of human capacity losses in private and public sectors, the delivery of antiretroviral drugs (ARV) to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS, and the introduction of best practices in HIV/AIDS and governance in critical development areas with a view to developing policy recommendations.
Through a series of conferences, training and specific project assistance the Institute addresses market and business concerns with a goal of developing long-term business solutions. In addition, the Institute will synthesize trade issues that are shaping the future of global trade.
Human rights education at the Institute implies the learning and practice of human rights. The program adopts holistic approach to human rights education promoting both content transmission and opportunities for young people to develop and practice the skills to respect human rights and citizenship including to help resolve multi-party conflict.
